We are continuing to experiment with AI in the context of managing reviews. Last month, we launched auto-tagging. This is a powerful feature you can use right now to automatically tag a review with the click of a button. Ultimately, the process can be automated without the need to click anything. Click on any of your reviews to try it yourself. The feature uses what we are calling Tag Rules. A tag rule consists of a positive and negative term, and if applicable, only one of those terms will be used to tag your review. You can even make your own set of tag rules that are specifically tailored to your business, here.
You can now reply to reviews imported from Google My Business. Click on any of your reviews, and if the origin of the review is Google, you will see a reply section underneath the review text. Your reply will be posted directly to your Google listing and the customer will be notified. You can also edit your reply anytime.
You can now add your own sources to each project. A source is a website where you collect reviews for your business, like TripAdvisor. Now you can add as many as you want. You can even define a color, select an icon, or upload your own icon. Your custom source can be used with links, filtering reviews, and displaying reviews on your showcase page and widgets.
Going forward, we are tracking what template and channel (email or sms), if any, were used in collecting your review. This information will be displayed on the footer of the review modal, after clicking on a review on the reviews page.
You can now check if you have a DMARC record on your domain using the DMARC validator in the domain setup pages. Without a DMARC record on your root sending domain, your emails will likely fall into the spam folders of your customers. This validator exists purely to let you know whether this important record exists in your DNS records or not.
When creating a new project, you can create a new member at the same time.
You can create a more advanced email footer for your templates in settings.
Added a new setting on the review form for when to display 3rd party links. You can choose to display them after a review is typed in or keep them on the same page.
Updated the rating selection behavior on the review form. You can choose when to capture the review after a rating is selected: always, never, or only capture if a known customer selected the rating.
